Strewn privacy policy

Strewn turns photos you pick into photo dump slides and collages. It is built so your photos stay on your iPhone. There is no account, no server of its own and no analytics. This page explains what is stored, what permissions are used and how purchases are handled.

Photos

You choose photos with the iOS photo picker. The picker runs outside Strewn, so Strewn never gets access to your whole library, only to the photos you pick.

Strewn copies the picked photos, resized to 1600 px, into its own storage on your iPhone so your dumps keep working. It reads sharpness, brightness, color and near-duplicates from a small preview, on the device. No photo, preview or result is uploaded anywhere.

Strewn never deletes, edits or moves anything in your photo library. When you save slides or collages, iOS asks for Add Photos Only permission at that moment.

What we collect

Nothing. Strewn has no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs and makes no network requests of its own.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. On iPhone, Strewn uses RevenueCat to read whether you have Pro. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user id and your purchase history, not linked to your identity, only to provide the subscription. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

Notifications

If you turn on the weekly reminder, it is scheduled locally on your iPhone. No push server is involved.

Your control

Me, then Your data, shows what is stored and lets you export the dump list or delete all Strewn data. Deleting the app also removes all of it.

Children

Strewn is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

Contact

Questions about this policy go through the App Support link on the App Store page once Strewn is released. The in-app Help screen has a Contact support row. Last updated: October 3, 2026.
